At the invitation of the Commission for the Official Commemorations of 25 April, the multimedia dossier The Anticolonial Periodical Press was published, revisiting the role of the press in shaping anticolonial thought and consciousness. Organized into three sections — “From the Colonial Act in the Press to the Press of Liberation Movements,” “Cultures of Resistance on Paper,” and “Get Out! The Press of International Solidarities” — the dossier was curated by Adelaide Vieira Machado, Daniela Spina, and Sandra Ataíde Lobo, with the collaboration of partner institutions of IGSCP-PE. It also benefited from the kindness of different members and friends of the IGSCP-PE, who shared their scientific or personal knowledge, contributing to the outcome of this collaborative initiative. The dossier was published on 11 November, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Angola’s independence, and can be consulted here.
