 The Webinar Cycle 2023/2024 aims to promote and debate the work of the IGSCP-PE's members. Sessions will be held on Thursdays on a monthly basis and open to the general audience.
The first session will happen on Thursday, the 19th of October 2023, with José Luís Garcia (ICS-ULisboa) as guest speaker. He will talk about the IGSCP's book Creating and Opposing Empire: the Role of the Colonial Periodical Press. You are very welcome to join the sessions!

 On the occasion of the anniversary of the start of the press in Cape Verde and the first publication of the Boletim Oficial do Governo de Cabo-Verde in 1842, the Instituto do Arquivo Nacional de Cabo Verde (IANCV) and the IGSCP-PE promote a seminar (onsite and online) dedicated to the topic Arquivo e Memórias da Imprensa Cabo-Verdiana e Africana. The seminar will be held on the 7th and the 8th of December 2023, in Cidade da Praia. Proposals including an abstract (max. 300 words) and a bionote (max. 150 words) must be sent to [email protected] by the 15th of October 2023.
