Rochelle Pinto

Rochelle Pinto teaches at Azim Premji University, Bangalore. She is the author of Between Empires - print and politics in Goa (OUP, 2007), and of Translation, Script and Orality (Orient BlackSwan, 2021), an edited book about how the Konkani language in Goa was impacted by comparative philology and nationalism and the question of script.
