Jessica Falconi
Jessica Falconi is Vice-President of CEsA (2023-2025 Management). She is a PhD researcher at CEsA/CSG/ISEG/ULisboa. She has a PhD in Iberian Studies from the University of Naples (Italy) “L’Orientale”, where she taught in the area of Lusophone literature and the Portuguese language. Between 2010 and 2017 she was a post-doctoral fellow at the Foundation for Science and Technology (Portugal), having carried out her research at the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra and, later, at CEsA/CSG/ISEG/ULisboa . In 2018 she was a visiting professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain) where she directed the Portuguese Language Center/Instituto Camões. She has participated in several research projects and has published in national and international journals in the area of Portuguese-language African literature and cinema, with a special focus on Mozambican literature.
