I hold a PhD in History, having completed my doctoral studies in History (2020–2025), a Master’s degree in History (2015–2018), and a Master’s degree in Literature (2018–2021) through the Graduate Programs of the School of Sciences and Letters at São Paulo State University (UNESP), Assis campus. I also hold undergraduate degrees in History (2011–2014) and Literature (2015–2018) from the same institution, as well as a degree in Pedagogy (2021–2024) from UNICENTRO.
I am a collaborating researcher at the Transdisciplinary Research Centre “Culture, Space, Memory” (CITCEM) and at the Centre for African Studies (CEAUP), both affiliated with the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, Portugal. I am a member of the Economic History Research Group at the School of Sciences and Letters (UNESP/Assis); the Interdisciplinary Center for African and Afro-Brazilian Studies (UNESP/Assis); the Laboratory of Modern and Contemporary History (LabMoCo) (UNESP/Assis); the research group Religions and Trajectories of Missionary Experiences in Africa: Archives, Collections, and Research, based at the School of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences (UNIFESP); the Center for Contemporary African History (UNIFESP); the Laboratory of Socio-Anthropological and Educational Escrevivências (LAB-ESCREVIVÊNCIAS) at the Department of Social Sciences of the State University of Londrina (UEL); and the research group Economy and Politics of the Iberian Empires (15th–20th centuries) at the Jaime Cortesão Chair (FFLCH/USP).
I have experience in the fields of African History, Contemporary History, and Political Theory, conducting research on colonialism, imperialism, and neocolonialism, with particular emphasis on the African press, assimilation policies, colonial administrations, labor regulations, political and colonial discourses, and power dynamics in African contexts during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
