Karishma d' Souza, Ressurge Goa Illustrated Zine
Karishma d'Souza has created this Illustrated Zine on the anticolonial newspaper Ressurge Goa, edited by Telo de Mascarenhas in the 1950s since his exile in Bombay, based on the issues that she read at our Common Virtual Exhibition. The IGSCP-PE is very happy to host her work. It was for the first time presented in Lisbon, at the Gabinete de Madame Thao, ‘Whole Rivers of Light’, two person exhibition, Karishma D’Souza and Le Phi Long, July 27 to September 20, 2024. The present gallery will be shared at the exhibition ‘Not a shore, neither a ship, but the sea itself’ curated by Sahil Naik, 14 to 21 December 2025, old Goa Medical College building, Serendipity Arts festival, Panjim, Goa.
