It is with great pleasure that we share the news and program of the first cycle of the Seminar in History of Literature, which will be approached from a multidisciplinary and comprehensive perspective of the concept of literature, addressing broad themes surrounding written and oral cultures, the press, and printed materials. This is an initiative by Francisco Soares, jointly organized by CITCEM (UP) and GIEIPC-IP. The sessions will take place monthly on the last Thursday of each month, except in December due to the holiday season, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (Portugal time).
The sessions will consist of individual or joint lectures and will always include time for discussion. The Seminar will be held online and is open to the academic community and the general public, subject to registration. To register, send a message to [email protected] or to [email protected].
The first session will take place on February 26, featuring Matheus Serva Pereira and Cristina Sá Valentim, who will deliver the lecture "Between Drums and Sound Archives: Reflections from Mozambican and Angolan Contexts."
