Christina Chatzitheodorou
Christina Chatzitheodorou is a postdoctoral researcher at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her work focuses on radical press produced by Greek and Portuguese students and workers abroad during the “Long Sixties”, specifically following May '68, with particular attention to anti-imperialist solidarities. Originally from Greece, she completed her PhD at the University of Glasgow, where her research explored women’s participation in left-wing resistance movements during the Second World War in occupied Greece, Italy and France. She is fluent in Greek, English, French, Italian, and Spanish, with working knowledge of Portuguese and Turkish, and is currently learning Arabic. Alongside her research, she has developed a visual archive on Greek solidarity with Palestine.
